"Tomorrow my warehouse will start packing a lot of goods, first delivering about 3 tons, then selling whatever we can buy, but right now there is a bit of shortage, customers have ordered too much," said Ms. Thuy.
Mr. Huynh Van Ton - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lai Vung district - said that the whole district has more than 500 hectares of pink grapefruit, of which more than 200 hectares are producing fruit for Tet.
"We do not want to expand the area, but only stabilize the yield from 20 - 25 tons/ha, the rest is to increase the quality and safety of the product for consumers to accept the pink grapefruit tree, which is considered sustainable," said Mr. Ton.
