The 7th Congress of the Farmers' Association of Ninh Binh province, term 2023 - 2028, has completed all the contents and programs set out and was a great success. With the theme "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", the Congress identified the goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the coming term to build a strong Association; promote the role of farmers in developing ecological agriculture, modern countryside, civilized farmers; contribute to building a rich and beautiful Ninh Binh province. On the sidelines of the Congress, Ninh Binh Newspaper reporters had a quick exchange with a number of delegates attending the Congress, noting the determination to soon put the Resolution of the Congress into life.
Continue to support farmers to boost production and business
I strongly agree with the objectives set out in the Congress Resolution, which are consistent with the actual situation and needs of farmers. I believe that the implementation of the Resolution will create consensus, contribute to increasing farmers' income, and promote agricultural and rural development.
From the reality of production and business, I see that, although receiving the companionship and support of all levels and sectors, including the Farmers' Association, farmers still face many difficulties and great risks in production due to the impact of weather and epidemics; the situation of "good harvest, low price" often recurs; the linkage and creation of value chains in production and product consumption are still limited...

Therefore, I hope that, in the new term, the Association at all levels will pay attention to and create conditions for farmers to exchange, visit and learn from the experiences of farmers in provinces across the country, especially the experiences from advanced typical models, good production and business. At the same time, continue to support farmer members to access preferential capital to invest in production and business; participate in training courses on science and technology transfer; support the construction of high-tech crop and livestock models with linkages in production and product consumption; supply fertilizers, plants and breeds to farmers; actively coordinate with businesses to promote and introduce members' products through e-commerce platforms, through fairs and exhibitions in and outside the province.
Trust and expectations in the new Executive Committee
Attending the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress for the first time, I am very honored, proud and happy with the achievements of the Association and the farmers' movement in the whole province in the past term.
In particular, with the spirit of democracy, seriousness and responsibility, the Congress selected truly excellent delegates, representing the intelligence, enthusiasm, will and aspirations of more than 130 thousand farmer members in the province to participate in the new Executive Committee.

I believe and expect that the members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, term VII, 2023-2028, will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation, proactiveness, creativity, closeness to listen to the aspirations and wishes, promptly advise on resolving the legitimate opinions and proposals of farmers in the province, and successfully implement the Resolution of the Congress.
Quickly concretize the targets of the Congress Resolution, contributing to improving the lives of ethnic minority farmers
This is the third time I have had the honor to attend the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress. What I clearly feel is the spirit of "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development" of this Congress.
The new point at this Farmers' Association Congress is the application of information technology to provide documents to delegates. Scanning QR codes helps the Congress save costs and time in printing and distributing documents. In the past, the Farmers' Association Congress at the district level has also done this very well and I hope that this method will continue to be widely disseminated, thereby contributing to changing the habits and behaviors of cadres, members and farmers in accessing new technology.
Having the honor of representing ethnic minority female farmers (Muong people) to attend the Congress, I am more deeply aware of my responsibility in participating in giving opinions to build goals and tasks for the next term. In particular, I am interested in the issue of how to continue to innovate the content and form of activities to gather and develop members who are ethnic minorities and religious people.

In the practice of the Farmers' Association in the area with a large number of ethnic minorities and religious people (Quang Lac commune - Nho Quan), I have found that the people are still lacking and need more support from the State, especially in terms of livelihood and infrastructure investment to serve production development. This is also the issue for the Association's work and the farmers' movement in the coming period.
To do so, the Association at all levels needs to regularly organize science and technology transfer activities, implement models and projects linking production in socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, contributing to improving living standards, attracting people to participate in the Association, joining hands to build a civilized new countryside and a rich and beautiful homeland.
Promoting the role of farmers as the main subject in modern rural development
Attending the Congress, I found that the Congress took place in a solemn, democratic atmosphere, ensuring quality, practicality, economy and safety. The preparations for the Congress were complete and thoughtful, such as: Documents, personnel work, propaganda work before, during and after the Congress were given attention. Delegates attending the Congress were very excited, had a sense of responsibility, and enthusiastically participated in speaking and discussing.
To spread the spirit of the Congress to a large number of members and farmers, immediately after the Congress, we will promote propaganda in many forms, integrating with the activities of the Association and branches; launching emulation movements associated with the implementation of political tasks in the locality.

In the immediate future, the District Farmers' Association will continue to mobilize the responsible and effective participation and contribution of cadres, members and farmers to promote agricultural production activities in an organic and sustainable direction, contributing to building a strong Association; promoting the role of farmers as the main subject in developing ecological agriculture, modern countryside, civilized farmers; contributing to building a rich and beautiful Ninh Binh province.
