Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai has just signed and issued on behalf of the Politburo Regulation 124 on annual quality review, assessment and classification of collectives and individuals in the political system.

The new regulation replaces Regulation 132 of 2018 of the Politburo. Compared to the old regulation, Regulation 124 has many additional contents.
In which, supplement the content such as promoting the spirit of self-criticism and criticism, self-reflection, self-correction, seeing advantages to promote, limitations and shortcomings to overcome.
Proactively detect and prevent signs of degradation, "self-evolution", "self-transformation", corruption, waste and negativity, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations, cadres and Party members, and building a clean and strong Party.
The regulation also clearly states the close combination of the results of evaluation and classification of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers with the evaluation and classification of the quality of party members.

Additional regulations on job positions and competency framework requirements for each job position to increase the quantitative nature of the assessment of annual task completion for each individual.
Regarding the subjects of review, the regulation adjusts and supplements the subjects to be "the collective leadership of the Party's advisory agencies, central and local public service units; the standing committees of provincial and district-level Party committees and equivalent levels (including the standing committees of grassroots Party committees assigned with authority at higher levels) and grassroots Party committees".
Along with that, party members who have been suspended from party activities and newly admitted party members who have not been admitted for 6 months are not subject to review according to regulations.
Review of personal and family exemplary responsibilities
When conducting reviews, regulations should supplement the contents of Party building and rectification work.
