(NLDO) - On the evening of March 24, Quang Nam province organized a special art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the province's Liberation Day and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of March 24, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Quang Nam province and the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thu (Tam Ky city).

Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, offered incense at the Quang Nam Provincial Martyrs Cemetery on the afternoon of March 24.

In the sacred atmosphere, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation observed a minute of silence to express their respect, deep gratitude, and remembrance of the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs and heroic Vietnamese mothers for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Also on the afternoon of March 24, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited, encouraged and presented gifts to families of martyrs and heroes of the People's Armed Forces in Tam Ky city.

On the evening of March 24, Quang Nam province organized a special art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Quang Nam Province Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).

The event aims to review the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee and People of Quang Nam province; express deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for the independence and unification of the Fatherland; and introduce the great achievements that the Party Committee and People of Quang Nam have achieved after 50 years of liberation...

50 years ago, the liberation of Quang Nam province on March 24, 1975 became a brilliant milestone in the history of the revolutionary struggle of the Party Committee, army and people of Quang Nam, marking the complete victory of the resistance war against the US, saving the country in the homeland of Quang Nam. The liberation of Quang Nam created conditions and contributed to the complete liberation of the South, reunifying the country on April 30, 1975.
