Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Ward 5 said: “Along with the decoration work, propaganda for the people about the election day, the ward has completed the personnel work with the voting results among the people reaching 100%. The ward has prepared all conditions, just waiting for the election day”.

Along with Ward 5, 15 Wards in the ward have carried out personnel consultation steps in accordance with regulations and instructions, ensuring the absolute leadership of the Party. The Wards have completed step 4 of the personnel process. Through the consultation steps, 100% of the personnel recommended for re-election (14 people) and new election (2 people) have achieved high consensus.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Hung, Secretary of the Quang Yen Ward Party Committee, said: In preparation for this election of village and neighborhood chiefs, the ward has promptly implemented the election plan in the area. The election steering committee was established, 16 election teams and 16 polling stations were established at 16 village and neighborhood cultural houses. In particular, the ward completed the construction of 4 new cultural houses with a budget of 10 billion VND, repaired 5 cultural houses with a budget of over 1 billion VND; repaired 20/45 loudspeaker clusters to ensure good service for the election work, towards the Party Congress of the neighborhoods.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Head of the Town's Internal Affairs Department, said: In order for the election of village and ward chiefs in the town to be organized successfully, effectively, and in accordance with regulations, the town has issued a plan; directed and guided localities to deploy and carry out the election of village and ward chiefs for the 2025-2027 term. Organize training for the town's steering committee, steering committees at commune levels, Party cell secretaries, and village and ward chiefs on election work in both direct and online forms. Strengthen information and propaganda in many forms to create a widespread influence, positively impacting people's awareness of the meaning, importance, rights and responsibilities of each person towards the election.

Localities organize the selection and introduction of candidates for the positions of village and neighborhood chiefs to ensure democracy, openness and transparency; focus on rejuvenating the team of village and neighborhood chiefs who are also Party cell secretaries according to the model of "People trust - Party nominates", as a basis for training and fostering to create a source for commune and ward cadres. Up to now, the whole town has 179 candidates for village and neighborhood chiefs; of which 148 are re-elected, accounting for 82.7%; 31 new participants, accounting for 17.3%.

The decoration work for the election day of the district chief in Quang Yen town is being carried out very actively.

Along with that, the town has invested in building 18 new cultural houses; repairing and upgrading 92 cultural houses; repairing and repairing the grassroots loudspeaker system damaged by storm No. 3, ensuring 100% completion before election day. At the same time, the town directed communes and wards to be proactive and pay attention to doing a good job of receiving citizens, handling petitions, complaints and denunciations; strengthening the work of grasping the situation in villages and neighborhoods to ensure absolute safety in terms of security, order and traffic safety, and not allowing unexpected situations to occur before, during and after the election.
