Quang Tri Department of Planning and Investment said that the Provincial People's Committee will organize the Quang Tri Provincial Business Dialogue Conference in 2024 on the morning of September 13.
Accordingly, the Conference will take place at the 2nd floor Hall - Saigon - Dong Ha Hotel, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province.
The conference was chaired by Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; with the participation of leaders of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee; leaders of departments and branches in the province; leaders of districts/towns/cities; representatives of the Provincial Business Association, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Provincial Women's Business Association, and more than 500 businesses and investors in the area.

Ms. Le Thi Thuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Tri province, said that the purpose of the Conference is to directly exchange and discuss between the Provincial People's Committee and state management agencies of Quang Tri province with enterprises and investors in the province. Thereby, promptly grasp, answer, and remove difficulties, obstacles, recommendations, and proposals of enterprises related to investment, production, business activities and the implementation of administrative procedures, etc. Create favorable conditions for enterprises to improve production and business efficiency, develop sustainably, and contribute to socio-economic development.
In addition, the Conference is also an opportunity to enhance the responsibility of enterprises in complying with state laws and local regulations; to rectify and enhance the sense of responsibility of state management agencies and officials and civil servants performing public duties in creating a favorable investment and business environment for enterprises investing and doing business in the province.
Receive comments and recommendations from businesses/investors regarding difficulties and obstacles in implementing policies to support businesses/investors according to Decision No. 2055/QD-UBND dated September 7, 2023 on promulgating the Plan to implement Resolution No. 58/NQ-CP dated April 21, 2023 of the Government on a number of key policies and solutions to support businesses to proactively adapt, recover quickly and develop sustainably by 2025.
Timely amend, promulgate or recommend, propose to Central agencies to consider and perfect new mechanisms and policies to continue improving the business investment environment, enhancing the province's competitiveness index.
"The conference will use the format of "quick questions, short answers" with a question and answer time of no more than 5 minutes. Any issues that can be resolved or resolved will be answered by representatives of departments, branches, sectors and localities right at the conference. For issues that require time to research and guide, 3 days after the conference, the agency assigned to preside over the resolution or advise on the resolution must respond to businesses in writing or report, recommend the Provincial People's Committee to resolve, and at the same time inform businesses to stay informed," Ms. Thuong informed.
According to Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Business Association to preside over making a list of businesses invited to attend the Conference as well as encourage member businesses to actively and proactively discuss, propose and propose solutions to difficulties and problems in a constructive spirit, listening and sharing for the common development of the province.
