Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Ms. Tran Dich Quan - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee - emphasized: Guangxi and Vietnam are geographically close, culturally connected, cultural and tourism resources are mutually supportive, and the potential for cooperation is extremely open. In recent years, with the attention and support of the governments of Vietnam and China, cultural and tourism cooperation between Guangxi and Vietnam has become increasingly deeper and achieved many outstanding results.

“In 2025, Vietnam and China will celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the year of Vietnam-China cultural exchanges. Guangxi will take the important common understanding reached by the leaders of the two countries as a guideline, strengthen cross-border tourism cooperation, red tourism, border culture, continue to deepen cultural and tourism cooperation, and contribute to building a community of shared future between Vietnam and China,” she said.

Mr. Wang Qun, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, affirmed: Vietnam-China relations are developing steadily. Guangxi, as an important bridge and gateway between China and ASEAN, has maximized its geographical advantages adjacent to the sea and land with Vietnam, exploited its rich natural resources and diverse cultural values, and promoted extensive cooperation and exchanges with Vietnamese localities. The cultural exchanges between Guangxi and Vietnam have achieved many positive results, especially in cross-border tourism.

He promised: The Chinese Embassy in Vietnam will continue to support exchange and cooperation activities between the two countries in various fields, including culture and tourism. Hopefully, through this event, Guangxi and Vietnam will further exploit the potential for cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism, adding new momentum to the process of developing culture and tourism between the two countries, contributing to promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China to develop stably and long-term.

At the event, Deputy Minister Hu An Phong affirmed that cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China, including Guangxi province, is a relationship rich in tradition, an objective need and a top priority of Vietnam. This event is extremely important, contributing to further promoting cultural and tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Guangxi.

He said: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam is ready to work closely with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi to organize the Vietnam Cultural Week in China, research and develop red tourism routes, actively participate in the China-ASEAN Tourism Fair, and contribute to building a community of sharing the strategic future of Vietnam and China.

Attending today's event, guests also listened to Han Liu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, vividly introduce the unique resources, beautiful scenery, long history, and diverse culture of Guangxi.

On the Guangxi side, there were Guangxi Development Tourism Corporation, Nanning Lujialuo International Travel Company Limited and Overseas Travel Company Limited; on the Vietnamese side, there were Kim Lien International Travel Joint Stock Company, Hongqi Travel Service Company and PYS Travel Company.

According to the signed document, the two sides will cooperate to develop and promote cross-border tourism products in each other's markets, exchange tourist sources, and expand market exploitation. It is expected that thousands of Vietnamese tourists will travel to Guangxi in the fourth quarter of this year, marking a new step forward in tourism cooperation between Vietnam and China.
