In "Inviting you to the Northwest", the first music album of her career, she dedicated the song "Dien Bien welcomes people" to Dien Bien with a very clear and sweet voice.
Accidentally fell in love with Dien Bien
In 2020, when releasing the song, the folk music champion of the Sao Mai - Diem Hen 2017 contest confided that she had not had the chance to visit Dien Bien, but with her own understanding and through the lyrics of musician Ha Quang Anh, she understood that Dien Bien is a very beautiful and lovely place.
Sen Hoang My Lam shared that during the recording of the album "Inviting you to come back to the Northwest" , there were some songs where she cried, but when singing "Dien Bien Don Nguoi" she felt very comfortable.
"The song was recorded quite quickly, I think I might have fallen in love with Dien Bien," My Lam said.
Dien Bien Don Nguoi is an easy and simple song to sing. My Lam feels that it resonates with her personality. And that is why the memory of the first song about Dien Bien left in her is smooth, comfortable and happy.
Unreleased MV filmed in Dien Bien
Sen Hoang My Lam's MVs always bring a feeling of comfort and intimacy. For her, each music product is a walk. Therefore, an MV during her walk in Dien Bien was born, but has not been revealed yet.
On the occasion of going to Dien Bien to perform for the 2023 Ban Flower Festival, My Lam and a filming crew from Ne Kenh went up the mountain to make the MV Chiec Khan Pieu . It was a coincidence and the MV was filmed very simply.
Experiencing the experience of looking down from the top of the mountain, the singer shared that she was very impressed with the beauty of this place and still remembers the image of a lonely tree there. In addition, the fear of riding a motorbike to the top of the mountain and cycling along the hillside is also a memory that she cannot forget in Dien Bien.
At the moment, the MV Chiec Khan Pieu has not been released yet. Sen Hoang My Lam feels very sorry for the delay in releasing the MV, but she is sure that she will soon introduce it to the public in the near future.
Missing the Bauhinia flower
The opportunity to perform at the 2022 Dien Bien Province Ban Flower Festival has instilled in the hearts of the nightingales of the Northwest mountains a deep nostalgia for the white color of the Ban flowers - a unique symbol that makes people come to this place.
She discovered a Bauhinia tree in the Ne Kenh area, with a very large base and a wide, round canopy. From that Bauhinia tree, one could see the whole poetic city of Dien Bien Phu.
My Lam has many compliments for this Bauhinia tree. The two times she went to Dien Bien to perform, she took pictures with “that tree”. She shared that she still has the video of herself standing under the tree and singing.
Not only that, the female singer also shared her good impression of the specialty bon soup, which is very cool, delicious and "goes well with rice".

Regarding future plans, Sen Hoang My Lam shared that she will continue to welcome and seek songs praising the beauty of the Northwest and Northeast. She plans to create a product with a newer color, with a contemporary folk sound, youthful in both arrangement, lyrics and images.
