Audiences believe that the achievements of Nguoi Het Thuong Minh are not commensurate with Hoai Lam's reputation. Previously, he was a "million-view star", owning a series of beloved hits. Currently, Hoai Lam is criticized as "out of date", "no longer attractive in the music industry"...

Many comments also pointed out that the male singer's voice has regressed and is losing form. The song is not suitable for the current music tastes of the audience.

On the evening of March 26, musician Nguyen Van Chung spoke up on his personal page, apologizing to Hoai Lam and expressing remorse because the song received many mixed opinions after its release.

"I feel guilty because I think Hoai Lam still has a beautiful voice, the audience still loves and welcomes him. On the recording day, even though he was sick, he still tried to sing the way I wanted.

Maybe my song is not good enough, not special enough, not impressive enough to suit and deserve Hoai Lam's voice, even though those are the emotions that I have gone through many storms to write down the thoughts from my heart, so that he has to receive such evaluations. That is the fault of the musician, not Hoai Lam", Nguyen Van Chung confided.

Some viewers agreed with Nguyen Van Chung's post. Some others said that the fault does not entirely lie with the musician because currently, Hoai Lam's reputation is no longer as good as it was at its peak, making it difficult for him to cause a storm in the music market.

This is not the first time Hoai Lam has disappointed when returning to the music industry.
