According to statistics from the Navy, every year the unit sends more than 1,600 officers and reporters to the localities to propagate about the sea and islands.
On average, each year, the reporting force in the military service directly disseminates information about the country's seas and islands to about 1.3 million cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, people, and students.
The content focuses on disseminating Vietnam's sea and island laws and international treaties; the location and importance of seas and islands and the practical situation in our country's seas and islands...
In particular, the Navy organizes to welcome over 6,000 reporters from news agencies and newspapers inside and outside the military to go on field trips every year to collect propaganda materials about the sea and islands as well as the activities of the navy.
From 2019 to present, the Navy has also organized to welcome domestic delegations and overseas Vietnamese to visit and encourage soldiers and civilians on Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 platform... to ensure absolute safety.
Through these trips, delegates witnessed the reality, gained deeper awareness and understood the situation of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. At the same time, they understood the silent sacrifices of the army and people who are directly performing the task of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - said that in the past 5 years, the City Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated with the Party Building Committee, the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department and member organizations to organize many activities related to the sea and islands.
Maintain the organization of the Ho Chi Minh City delegation to visit and encourage officers and soldiers on duty in Truong Sa archipelago, islands and DK platforms. Through each working trip, members are aware of their responsibilities, thereby loving the Fatherland, the sea and islands more, participating in projects and tasks for the homeland's sea and islands.
Mr. Tuan proposed that the Navy Command continue to pay attention and direct its subordinate units to coordinate with the City Fatherland Front Committee to deploy long-term projects bearing the imprint of Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, continue to create favorable conditions for the city to implement the program "For a green Truong Sa".

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Navy - said that in the coming time, the Navy will determine the task of comprehensively, synchronously and in-depthly implementing coordinated programs to propagate the sea and islands in a broad, practical and effective manner.
Continue to promote defense diplomacy propaganda on the sea; fight and refute false arguments about Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands.
At the preliminary conference, the Navy recommended to the Central Propaganda Department to develop a comprehensive strategy on propaganda work on seas and islands and proactively prepare legal basis elements to promptly serve the political, legal and diplomatic struggle to affirm sovereignty over seas and islands.
At the same time, there is a plan to coordinate and synchronously propagate the struggle associated with situations at sea, aiming to combine political, diplomatic, and legal struggles with struggles on the ground.
