Prudential Vietnam honored at HR Excellence Award 2024 in Singapore

Recently, Prudential Vietnam has won the HR Excellence Award 2024 in Singapore in the Learning and Development category. This is a tangible demonstration of Prudential's comprehensive human resource strategy and affirms its position as a model enterprise in the insurance industry, especially in the field of training and team development.

The HR Excellence Awards Singapore celebrates outstanding achievements in human resource management strategies from companies operating in Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, competing in Singapore - a market with high standards and prestige in the region. With a prestigious judging panel, the awards recognize breakthrough strategies and initiatives that have a great impact on employee engagement and business success.

At this year's awards ceremony, Prudential was named in the Learning and Development category for its people-centric business strategy, realized through a comprehensive training and development strategy.

From there, the company aims to build a flexible organization, promote a culture of continuous learning, enhance the spirit of innovation and thoroughly prepare the team for future changes. Training and development initiatives are designed to diversify learning experiences to help employees easily apply knowledge to real work. That is the key factor that helps Prudential achieve success at the award and consolidate its position as a model enterprise as the "cradle" of training in the insurance industry.

Specifically, Prudential has built a long-term and rigorous human resource development roadmap from 2024 to 2026 with clear goals for each stage. The three-year roadmap is carefully built, revolving around the main pillars: continuous learning culture, organizational capacity building and internal career development.

Thanks to its focused training and development strategy, Prudential has recorded many positive results, with the number of applications to the company increasing by 16% compared to 2022, of which the annual Management Trainee recruitment program increased by 166% compared to 2023.

Notably, the turnover rate before 12 months decreased by 3.5% and the employee satisfaction index (eNPS - Employee Net Promoter Score) reached 68 points, in the top 25%, showing that Prudential employees (PruCitizen) feel proud and willing to recommend their workplace.

In addition to this award, in 2024, Prudential Vietnam will also receive recognition in many other awards such as: "Hat-trick" at the Insurance Asia Award 2024 with 3 categories: International Life Insurance Company of the Year, Sustainable Development Initiative of the Year, Insurance Claim Payment Initiative of the Year; honored in the Top 100 sustainable enterprises at the CSI Program 2023 organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); awarded the title of Excellent and Sustainable Enterprise in Asia from The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES); recognized as an Excellent Workplace 2024 from the Great Place to Work organization.
