The palanquin procession to Hung Temple recreates the cultural and religious activities of the people of the land associated with the worship of ancestors. In addition, the ritual creates richness and appeal to folk cultural activities on the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary; arouses pride in national history and cultural traditions to educate awareness, the spirit of great solidarity and the morality of "remembering the source when drinking water", "remembering the person who planted the tree when eating fruit". One of the activities that attracts a large number of viewers is the lion and dragon dance performance, performed by the Tam Hiep lion and dragon dance club (Phuc Tho district, Hanoi city). The graceful and flexible dance performances combined with bustling sounds have created a joyful and exciting atmosphere, highlighting the festival space this year.

Mr. Tran Van Dich, Chairman of the Club, said that with the philosophy of "When drinking water, remember its source", Tam Hiep Lion Dance Club, like millions of Vietnamese people, turns to the homeland, the origin of the nation, to commemorate the merits of the ancestors, the predecessors who built the country. Continuing the tradition of "Dragon and Fairy Children", visitors to Hung Temple on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary not only immerse themselves in the solemn and respectful atmosphere of the palanquin procession, but also learn more about the worship of Hung Kings, thereby multiplying the love for the homeland, the pride of the "Dragon and Fairy Children" race. Also on the afternoon of April 15, information from Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union said that, participating in the activities of Hung King's death anniversary - Hung Temple Festival and Cultural - Tourism Week of the homeland, the Provincial Youth Union has directed the Youth Union and Association at all levels to establish and organize volunteer youth teams to participate in serving the festival.
