Of the 10 announced tours to Bai Tu Long Bay, 3 will pass through locations in Bai Tu Long National Park. Many of these locations have been areas with low telecommunication signal for many years. The Bai Tu Long National Park Management Board has coordinated with Viettel Quang Ninh to upgrade low-band 4G technology at Viettel telecommunication stations in the Bai Tu Long Bay area. Specifically, upgrading the technical infrastructure at the BTS station in Cai Lim Island area, serving high-speed broadcasting and wide coverage of waterways and tourism routes.
Up to now, over 15,700 hectares of Bai Tu Long National Park, both in the forest and under the sea, have been basically covered, especially focusing on sea tourism routes, Mang Ha overnight area, Tram forest complex - Vietnam heritage tree in Minh Chau commune... Upgrading telecommunications infrastructure in Bai Tu Long Bay area, especially in areas with complex terrain, will continue to be implemented in the coming time, ensuring the completion of shared infrastructure for many telecommunications networks, creating favorable conditions to promote the development of the marine economy, especially tourism.
It is expected that this year, in addition to 4G broadcasting, this area will be upgraded with 5G broadcasting stations, ensuring better signal quality and bandwidth.
This March, tourism itineraries on Bai Tu Long Bay will be officially launched, opening unique sightseeing routes, meeting diverse tourist needs, especially the high-quality customer segment. Therefore, coverage in these areas helps enhance the experience for tourists, creating favorable conditions for propaganda and promotion of destinations in the Bai Tu Long Bay area.
