Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Thu Ha meets voters of Co To district

In preparation for the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of October 1, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, had an online meeting with voters of Co To district.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, informed voters of Co To district about the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; introduced the laws that the National Assembly commented on and is expected to pass at the session; and the results of handling voters' petitions at the 7th Session.

Accordingly, the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on October 21, 2024 and close on November 30, 2024. At the session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 16 laws and 2 resolutions; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and a number of other important issues...

Voters of Co To district made recommendations at the meeting.

At the conference, voters of Co To district expressed their joy at the active activities of the provincial National Assembly Delegation; at the same time, they made recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government, ministries and branches on the following issues: Continuing to disseminate and specify the contents of the 2024 Land Law; perfecting the Law amending the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; developing policies to replant and reconstruct natural forests and protective forests managed by communes after damage caused by storms, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, emphasized that the issues and recommendations of voters are all very valid, directly related to the lives of local people. In the face of the task of socio-economic development in localities and Quang Ninh province in the coming time, especially the efforts to restore growth after storm No. 3, she hopes that district voters will continue to support and agree with the major orientations and policies of the province to promote socio-economic development in the area.
