Telegram sent to: Minister of Public Security; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, stating:

On May 12 and 13, 2023, a number of fires occurred, causing particularly serious consequences for people and property. After the fire at the Akatsuki Japanese-Korean Tea Room in Hai Phong City that killed 3 people, on the morning of May 13, 2023, another fire broke out at a house at 24 Thanh Cong Street, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City, killing 4 people in a family. On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang sent his deepest condolences to the relatives and families of the victims and gave the following instructions:

The Hanoi People's Committee continues to resolutely and effectively implement the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister on fire prevention and fighting; at the same time, direct the organization of visits, encouragement, and material and spiritual support to the victims' families; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to direct functional forces to focus on overcoming the consequences, promptly investigate and clarify the cause of the fire for strict handling according to the provisions of law./.
