DNO - On the morning of March 27, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong inspected the actual situation and evaluated the investment efficiency of An Thuong Tourist Street (Ngu Hanh Son District) and the policy and funding sources for murals, frescoes, reliefs and installation art serving tourism.

Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong inspected some walking streets in An Thuong area such as infrastructure, sidewalks, pedestrian areas... and noted that the locality needs to carefully assess the current status of the existing streets, what has been done and what has not been done before investing in the next phase.
Accordingly, after the pilot implementation period, it is necessary to collect evaluation forms from business households on the street. Investing in product formation is not difficult, the important thing is to evaluate the quality, business efficiency, and effectiveness in attracting customers.
At the same time, get opinions from business households to see if those directly doing business have any comments or suggestions for solutions, thereby absorbing and perfecting them during the implementation process.
“Listening to people's opinions to grasp the actual situation is very necessary because we build and develop products based on the actual needs of tourists, we must create attraction so that tourists will come by themselves,” Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran emphasized.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also said that on some streets such as Chau Thi Vinh Te, there are already households providing food and beverage services. To create tourist streets to attract visitors, the locality should base on that foundation to develop, calculate, arrange, and divide traffic appropriately.
Checking the actual area where the painting and reliefs are proposed (the fence surrounding the Danang College of Culture and Arts, Le Quang Dao Street), the school representative reported the purpose of renovating the fence by building reliefs and painting murals alternately.

In particular, the paintings mainly depict the beautiful scenery of Da Nang city, the reliefs recreate typical architectural works of Vietnam on cement material; creating check-in spaces for people and tourists.
According to the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, investing in products outside this wall must be calculated appropriately, and it is possible to consider making a part of the section associated with the An Thuong tourist area.
Mr. Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, said that after the pilot implementation period, An Thuong Tourist Street has been supported by residents in the neighborhoods; the locality ensures security and order, urban environment, and rearranges to do better, ensuring safety for tourists...
The district also hopes that the city will continue to implement phase 2 of An Thuong Tourist Street from Le Quang Dao Street to Mai Thuc Lan Street (2024-2025).
Phase 2, in addition to infrastructure investment, will include a central square to organize events to serve residents and tourists...
