This businessman decided to stop playing with 11-a-side football, focusing only on women's football and futsal.

Expertise gap
In terms of professional social organization, VFF needs more businessmen in key leadership positions to increase prestige and resources to serve the development plans of Vietnamese football in the near future. Previously, the late President Le Hung Dung was such a person.

Co-managing the work at VFF and VPF, the businessman born in 1963 helped Vietnamese football overcome some sensitive and difficult times due to the general impact of society. Basically, football teams gradually had more revenue from football, the price of television copyright increased as well as the image and brand of V.League improved significantly.
Mr. Tran Anh Tu has been involved in football for many years. In addition to futsal, women's football is also Mr. Tu's forte. Successes kept coming and he started to rebuild Ho Chi Minh City Club, further moving towards VPF. This is the big difference of the most successful futsal leader in history.
With his extensive professional knowledge, Mr. Tu also has the resources to invest whenever he feels the need. As long as he has a good enough plan, Mr. Tran Anh Tu will find a way to find funding. It is not uncommon for him to even use his own money to solve common problems.
When Mr. Tu left, the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee, Term IX, did not easily fill the void in the position of Vice President in charge of professional affairs. A Vice President in charge of professional affairs who has his own large and strong business and is decisive in investment is considered a "rare commodity".
Back to the "golden land"
