Netflix says all characters in One Piece will be dubbed into Japanese, and the studio has just announced the veteran artists who will voice the characters in the film.
The Japanese cast will voice the characters in One Piece, including: actress Mayumi Tanaka voicing the "Straw Hat" captain Monkey D. Luffy, male artist Kazuya Nakai voicing the pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro, female artist Akemi Okamura voicing the navigator Nami, male actor Kappei Yamaguchi voicing Usopp and male artist Hiroaki Hirata voicing Sanji.

The roles in One Piece are played by a diverse cast: Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy plays Monkey D. Luffy, Spanish actor Taz Skylar plays Sanji, American actress Emily Rudd plays Nami, British actor Peter Gadiot plays Shanks, American actor Jacob Gibson plays Usopp, and Japanese actor Arata Mackenyu plays Roronoa Zoro.
Netflix said that One Piece , like many previous works, will be dubbed into other languages in addition to the original English language. And Japanese is one of them. Notably, actor Arata Mackenyu is a rare Japanese artist participating in this film adaptation.
The live-action One Piece movie, in addition to the original language, will be dubbed in other languages. The picture shows an example of the dubbed language chart for the movie Ōoku: Men's Harem and the One Piece movie will be similar, the difference is in the original language of the movie.
Filmmakers Matt Owens and Steven Maeda co-wrote and produce the One Piece series. Eiichiro Oda, the creator of the original manga, is a producer on the project, along with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements. The Japanese version of the film will be released on August 31st alongside the English version on Netflix. Viewers can freely switch languages on the film's language selector.
