Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 2526/QD-UBND, dated June 18, 2016, approving the 1/2000 scale construction zoning plan of Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park, Thieu Hoa district.

Accordingly, the planning scope includes part of the administrative boundaries of Thieu Giang, Thieu Quang, Thieu Thinh and Thieu Hop communes, Thieu Hoa district.
The planning objective is to concretize the Thanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 153/QD-TTg dated February 27, 2023; the Thieu Hoa District Construction Planning to 2045 and the Giang Quang Urban Master Plan, Thieu Hoa District approved by the Provincial People's Committee; ensuring consistency between related planning and the land use plan of Thieu Hoa District.
Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park has the nature and function of a multi-industry industrial park, in which priority is given to high-tech industry; manufacturing, mechanical, and automobile industries; pharmaceutical industry; food industry... The labor scale is about 30,000 people.
The planning area is about 348.88ha; of which, the land area for construction of the Industrial Park is 298.56ha, the land area outside the industrial park (current land and technical infrastructure protection corridor) is 50.32ha. The land for construction of factories and enterprises is 214.25ha, accounting for 71.76%. Land for trees is 29.88ha, accounting for 10.01%. Land for traffic is 30.73ha, accounting for 10.29%.
The industrial park is divided into two main areas, including: Area A with an area of about 174.9 hectares located west of Dinh Cong Street (Thanh Hoa City) and a part south of Hoang Xuan Street (Thieu Long, Thieu Hoa); Area B with an area of about 123.66 hectares is the remaining area located on the opposite side.
The establishment of Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park will attract and serve the needs of investors, along with synchronous investment in technical infrastructure of Thieu Hoa district, connecting with Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thieu Hoa district in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general.
