Father reports to police after discovering son hiding gun in brick kiln

On May 24, news from Long Ho District Police (Vinh Long) said that the unit is coordinating to verify and hand over to the competent authority to handle the case of a young man hiding a gun with features similar to a military weapon at a brick kiln.

The gun was determined to function as a military weapon.

Accordingly, on May 8, Long Ho District Police received a report from Mr. NVBH (47 years old, living in Thanh My 1 Hamlet, Thanh Duc Commune, Long Ho District) about discovering that his son NTT (25 years old, living in the same locality) had hidden in a brick kiln a revolver, 4 bullets with shells and metal heads.

Upon receiving the report, Long Ho District Police quickly arrived at the scene, made a record, seized the gun and ammunition mentioned above and requested an appraisal. The result was that the gun had similar features to a military weapon.

The above gun hiding case is being further investigated and handled by Long Ho District Police according to the provisions of law.
