'My husband Duc Thinh lets me decide how to raise my children'

Appearing in episode 58 of the program Vietnamese Family Home, actress Thanh Thuy and Mac Van Khoa brought home a prize worth 85 million VND for orphans. Besides, she also had the opportunity to share about her career and life.

As a famous actress, Thanh Thuy once had a period of time away from the screen to focus on film production, business and family care. Recently, she has started to return to acting.

Sharing at the program, Thanh Thuy said she is always satisfied with everything she does. At the present time, the actress likes to become a trainer.

“In addition to being an actress, I also teach, so I like people to see me as someone who shares and trains business people or those who want to build their personal brands. I also train those who want to be actors or need a fluent, expressive voice. With movies, I see that I still have free time, so I proactively ask for roles to act,” the actress confided.

For Thanh Thuy, the secret to a happy family is trust. The actress believes that not only in the relationship between husband and wife, but also between parents and children, and between friends, trust is essential to maintain a long-term relationship.

Regarding the views on raising children, Thanh Thuy and her husband do not differ much because most of the decisions are made by her. This also shows her husband Duc Thinh's trust in the actress.

“For important matters, I also need Duc Thinh’s opinion and cannot make decisions on my own. I consider myself a woman, I have to take care of the family and raise my children well. Maybe that’s why I always leave all the work I do to my husband to make him feel secure,” Thanh Thuy said.

As a public figure, Thanh Thuy believes that arranging time reasonably between work and family is a “bit difficult” thing. However, the mother of two children affirms that she is someone who always knows how to arrange time reasonably. When her children are young and need their mother more, she will prioritize them first.

On the contrary, during stressful times or when she first starts a project, she will have to spend more time taking care of it. She always tries to arrange everything to be as complete as possible.

"No matter how good a businesswoman is, the role of a woman is still to take good care of her children and raise them well. So wherever I go to film, if possible, I always take my children with me. At times like that, I find myself working more productively, because I feel secure when my children are with me. Feeling like my children are being well taken care of, I will be more successful in my work," she said.

Not only does Duc Thinh’s wife take her children to work with her, she also sets up social networking sites for her two kids. The children also act with their parents in many clips she posts.

She said: “I work in the industry so I don’t think about forcing my child to follow the same career path. It’s just that at home I know how to build a channel and how to help a person build a personal brand, so I decided from a young age that this is a place to store their memories. I want to build channels for my child with lots of followers so that later on they can use it for whatever they want.”
