On March 18 in Hanoi, the Television Film Center (Vietnam Television) held a press conference to inform about the film "One Family" directed by Trinh Le Phong with an outstanding cast revolving around the story of two twin brothers played by Duy Hung and Tuan Tu. Both have opposite personalities and circumstances but have one thing in common: they are devoted to their family.
The film carries a meaningful message about love and family affection. Family conflicts that seem to happen to everyone, many humorous and dramatic situations, interspersed with many interesting action scenes.
Sharing about his role in the new film, Tuan Tu expressed: "Although in real life Duy Hung is 5 years younger than Tuan Tu, in the film Tu plays the younger brother. Therefore, the film crew had to re-make Duy Hung look older, and he actually looks older than Tu. Regarding Tuan Tu, we have to try to make the character look younger. As for the acting, Tuan Tu also has to try to act younger, to be true to the younger brother role. With this role of Tue, it will definitely be completely different from Duy Anh in the film "Are you a man?". This will be a different type of husband, a different type of younger brother..."
He also revealed: "Tu cried more tears in this movie than in all the previous movies combined."
Talking about the hot scene with Thanh Huong, Tuan Tu shared: "I don't think Thanh Huong and I can do a hot scene together. I really want to, but at this age, I can't do it."
Also talking about the hot scenes in the movie, with the role of the wife, Thanh Huong said that if necessary for a segment, she still has to do it and "looking hot doesn't necessarily mean it's hot". She also shared her opinion that when playing a married couple, those hot scenes are very normal for couples in real life.
In addition to information related to the new film, Thanh Huong also became the center of attention when she shared with the press about her marriage. Recently, she suddenly announced that she had ended her marriage of more than 10 years. Previously, she was someone who rarely mentioned her private life, but this time, Thanh Huong took the initiative to share about her divorce.
Talking about the reason for her divorce, she choked up: "No matter which female artist, when facing this, there are things that are very difficult for them to share. I also determined that when I shared this, there would be many storms, not peace. I think artists need to be honest with the audience. This is also a way for me to change. I dare to say, I dare to do, I dare to love someone new, for example. I don't want to live in the past, I also want to end things in the past, so I want to share."
Sharing about this film, young actress Quynh Chau was moved by many firsts: "For the first time in my acting career, I have an official film press conference. For the first time, I am honored to have the opportunity to sit with my uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters, my idols, my seniors, I feel very lucky. And this is also the first time many people listen to me speak like this."
The first time she took on a long-term role in the movie "Nguoi mot nha", Quynh Chau was quite "shocked" because she was constantly scolded by the director and cameraman. "I was scolded a lot. There was not a single day that I did not get scolded. There were times when I first started filming that I lost confidence in myself. When I had to step out of my comfort zone, I felt very shaky and scared and there were times when I wondered if I had chosen the wrong career..."
Sharing about accepting the role of Mrs. Thu in the film, artist Van Dung said that in 30 years of pursuing an acting career, Nguoi Mot Nha is the first film in which the artist was not allowed to act comedically. "When I received the invitation, I was very confused because I come from a background as a comedian, if I was not allowed to act humorously, would I be able to fulfill the role? However, after reading the script, I accepted the invitation because of the humanistic meaning emanating from the film."
Playing the role of an authoritarian, violent man who likes to use violence to solve problems, Meritorious Artist Quoc Trong complained that he did not understand why in recent years he was only given the role of "dirty" old men, from "The Judge" to "Black Medicine" and "neighborhood cowboy" in "One Family", so he had to find a different acting style from previous roles.
Director Trinh Le Phong said, "Nguoi mot nha" is a psychological film. The most difficult thing about making a psychological film is to show the character's psychology when facing life's changes, helping the audience feel it. Therefore, during the filming process, the whole crew had to re-shoot many scenes. The goal is to make a film that touches the audience's hearts, so that the audience can think about the messages about family love.
The film revolves around the story of twin brothers Tri and Tue, with opposite personalities and living conditions. They have in common that they are devoted to their loved ones. In the film, director Trinh Le Phong puts these two characters in difficult choices in life.
The appeal of The One Family comes from everyday details, family conflicts that everyone seems to encounter, many humorous and dramatic situations, interspersed with action scenes. In addition, the film conveys a meaningful message about love and family affection.
