One Family (directed by Trinh Le Phong) revolves around the lives of two brothers, Tri and Tue, with contrasting personalities and living conditions.
Tri used to be a gangster, after 10 years in prison abroad, he returned to Vietnam to start his life over. He met Tue - who is currently living with his wife and young daughter in the house left by his grandparents.
Brothers are like hands and feet in the same family.
If following the familiar Vietnamese movie motif, the story might begin with plots and plans to take over the house, filled with drama of fighting and fighting among brothers.
But no, The One who exploits a different direction, gentle, lovely about brotherhood and humanity.

Viewers are entertained, laugh, and cry with the characters, and most of all, healed by the love in the film, like the folk song our grandparents taught us: Brothers are like arms and legs/When torn, we cover each other, when bad, we help each other .
Duy Hung (as Tri) and Tuan Tu (Tue's younger brother) play their roles very sweetly. Tri is carefree, cool, and rich on the outside, but is loyal and takes care of his younger brother very much. Tue is naive, innocent, kind, and especially loves him very much.
Every time we see Tue hugging him, leaning her head on his chest, crying, sulking... the audience feels so sorry for him.

In the latest episode 6, when Khanh (actress Thanh Huong - Tue's wife) was furious when she discovered that Tri had borrowed money and lost his job, and that her husband also lost his job because of his brother, Tue defended her brother to the fullest.
The elder brother, for the peace of his small family, chose to leave even though he had no money.
The way Tri gently apologized to his sister-in-law and entrusted his foolish younger brother to Khanh to take care of showed the nobility and patience of an older brother who always protected his younger brother.
And Tue also loves him no less. He choked up and blamed his wife:
“If outsiders discriminate against him, I can understand. But we are family.
People in the same family. If you do that, where can people like Tri live in this society?
In the excerpt of episode 7, broadcast at 9:40 p.m. on April 18 on VTV3, Mr. Tri told Tue: 'Debts can be deferred, but money for your wife and children must never be delayed', which made the women excited. Many people turned to blame Tue's wife for her "unacceptable" actions.
Speak for many people
Actor Tuan Tu is older than Duy Hung.
To get into character, both of them had to “transform” a lot. Duy Hung had a complicated fake beard, Tuan Tu had a shiny face, showing innocence through his eyes, tight hugs with his brother and sobbing tears.

But how to act so that the audience believes that their brotherhood is real is the real worry of the two actors in the first days on set.
Before acting, Tuan Tu and Duy Hung went for coffee, talked and shared with each other.
They lived with the character so much that in real life, they still called each other by the character's name.
“Sometimes I even call Tuan Tu “that guy”, Duy Hung once shared.
Tuan Tu said: "Reading the audience's comments, I am very pleased and happy."
He explained: “Really, anyone who has a brother or sister wishes to be like Tue. Having the right to do what they want, expressing their feelings for each other. This creates the appeal of the film.
In real life, two brothers often find it difficult to talk and share feelings with each other. But in the movie, if there is anything difficult to say, just give it to Mr. Tue and he can say it.

That sweet brotherly love from the movie to real life touches the audience's emotions.
A viewer recalled his family story and wrote: “Although my family’s circumstances were a little different, my brother raised us to be human beings. Now that my siblings have food to eat, he is no longer here. I really like scenes like this. Only those who have experienced it can understand.”
One person wished: “I love these two brothers so much! I have two grandsons and I want them to learn how to love and care for each other like two brothers.”
"I wish my children would be as loving and affectionate as Tri and Tue."
