Vietnam is gradually integrating into the world economy, with the participation of the state and private economic sectors. Vietnamese youth have youthfulness, capacity, perseverance and enthusiasm. All these factors bring about the role and responsibility of youth in the new period. Especially contributing to the process of industrialization and modernization of the country. Youth bring a lot of potential to participate, associated with the common career and ideal to develop the country.

Keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teachings, generations of Vietnamese youth always promote the spirit of pioneering, especially volunteering to work in mountainous, border and especially disadvantaged communes. Along with that, they are always pioneers in all actions to protect and build the Fatherland.

With the photo album Where there is need, Youth has it , author Nguyen Van Tuan sent to the Photo and Video contest Happy Vietnam, organized by the Department of Foreign Information, Ministry of Information and Communications, images of the volunteering and proactive class of Vietnamese Youth today.

Promoting the pioneering spirit of youth, volunteering to take on tasks in mountainous and border areas with many difficulties has contributed to inspiring the young generation across the country, each young person continues to strive, study, train their will and courage, overcome challenges, live a useful life and contribute to the community.

The photo contest on the website Vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over, aiming to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. At the same time, it helps people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam through the authentic, vivid and objective perspectives of professional and non-professional authors in the country and international friends.
