On June 12, the Dong Hoi City Environment and Climate Change Project Management Board (Quang Binh) confirmed that it had just put into operation a system of 5 standard public toilets and one semi-automatic toilet at major tourist attractions in Dong Hoi City.
These are the first standard public toilets built at tourist destinations in Quang Binh and are completely free of charge.
Free "fancy" public toilets for tourists
The public toilets are designed to be sunk into the ground to limit the obstruction of visitors' sea views. Inside, the items are automatically installed and many modern auxiliary items are arranged such as ventilators, steam dryers, decorative LED lights...
After completion, the unit completed the procedures to hand over the toilets to the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board for management and operation.

It is known that the project is invested by the Dong Hoi City Environment and Climate Change Project Management Board, with a total investment of more than 15 billion VND and was put into operation after more than a year of construction.
Of the five solidly built toilets, two are located in Bao Ninh beach square, two are located along Nhat Le beach and one is located in the city night fair square (opposite Dong Hoi City People's Committee).
The remaining semi-automatic toilet is located opposite Ho Chi Minh Square.
Restore the image of Quang Binh tourism
Every year, tourist destinations such as Nhat Le beach and Bao Ninh beach welcome millions of visitors, but there are only a few semi-automatic toilets made of composite materials scattered along the coast.
These toilets often deteriorate after a short time of use, so tourists almost do not dare to use them.

The appearance of a "high-quality" public toilet system has opened a "difficult" knot for the province's tourism industry, when the public toilet system was of poor quality and almost unusable for a long time.
As soon as the first images of the toilet were posted on Quang Binh tourism forums, thousands of likes and hundreds of comments were shared by tourists.
Most opinions agree that this is a necessary project, even the most important for a city determined to develop in the direction of tourism.
"The only downside of Quang Binh tourism over the years is that there is not even a decent public toilet. Having this toilet system will solve many unspeakable needs of tourists in the future," a happy tourist said.
