Awarding certificate of Ha Lien village into "Top 7 Impressions of Vietnam" in 2024

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association awarded the certificate of "Top 7 Impressions of Vietnam" to the representative of Ha Lien village.

The title "Top 7 Impressive Vietnam" in 2024 was launched and organized by Saigon Marketing - a publication of the Saigon Times Group, to accompany the development of sustainable tourism, contributing to finding new destinations. 2024 is the 4th time Saigon Marketing has organized this program and has received more than 200 nominations, along with nearly 21,000 votes. Thereby, 35 impressive destinations and tourism experiences have been found. Of which, Ha Lien village is 1 of 3 locations in Khanh Hoa province certified as "Top 7 Impressive Vietnam" (along with Lang Nho - Ho Lang Nhot Tourist Area in Dien Khanh district; Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Tourist Area). Ha Lien village is described by Saigon Marketing as a place with impressive countryside beauty seen from above.

Ha Lien village is an ancient village formed in 1653, following the footsteps of the land-opening chief Hung Loc Hau under the reign of Lord Nguyen Phuc Tan. Located about 30km north of Nha Trang city and about 6km southeast of Ninh Hoa town center, Ha Lien village seen from above looks like a kite flying in the middle of a large aquaculture area. Currently, Ha Lien village has 333 households with 1,128 people, living mainly by fishing and aquaculture. The impression when coming to Ha Lien village is the peaceful beauty here with aquaculture ponds; the cool green color of the mangrove forest with species of mangrove, mangrove, parrot, and mam trees... In the village, there are Ha Lien communal house, Nam Hai mausoleum, Thien YA Na temple, Hau Tho temple, Hue Lien pagoda and especially the houses located close together. Over many generations, Ha Lien people have always been industrious, hard-working, sticking to the village and the sea. Being recognized as a "Top 7 Impressions of Vietnam" destination is one of the bases for Ninh Hoa town to build a plan for community tourism activities for Ha Lien village.
