Female Department Director becomes Secretary of Co To island district

Ms. Le Ngoc Han, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh, was assigned to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Co To District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the morning of March 1, in Co To district, Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Ms. Le Ngoc Han, member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, holding the position of Secretary of the Co To District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and introduced to the Co To District People's Council to elect the position of Chairman of the Co To District People's Committee.

On the same day, the People's Council of Co To district, term VI, held the 23rd session - a thematic session to elect an additional position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To district for the 2021-2026 term. At the session, 100% of delegates voted with confidence to elect Ms. Le Ngoc Han, Secretary of the District Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To district.

In his congratulatory speech and assignment of tasks to the new Secretary of the Co To District Party Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang affirmed that Ms. Le Ngoc Han is a capable and well-trained cadre who has held many positions and has made significant contributions to the development of the province.

Before taking on the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Co To District, Ms. Le Ngoc Han worked as a reporter for Quang Ninh Newspaper; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ninh Newspaper; Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications and Director of the Department of Information and Communications.
