(QNO) - According to Nong Son District Party Committee, in 2023, the locality admitted 33 new party members (reaching 110% of the target); but this year, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also decided to remove the name of 1 party member and expel 4 cases from the Party.

In 2023, Party building work in Nong Son achieved many results, especially the admission of 33 new Party members, reaching 110% of the target. The examination, verification, and review of political standards of cadres and Party members to serve the work of appointing, reappointing, and supplementing the planning of leadership and management positions at the district and commune levels were strictly implemented in accordance with regulations.

However, during the year, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee disciplined 1 party organization with the form of reprimand; the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee disciplined 1 party member with the form of reprimand; the grassroots Party Committee disciplined 1 party member with the form of reprimand. The Party cell directly under the District Party Committee also disciplined 5 party members with the form of reprimand; the Party cell directly under the grassroots Party Committee disciplined 4 party members with the form of reprimand.

The District Party Committee's Inspection Commission also disciplined 7 party members (1 reprimand; 2 warnings; 4 expulsions). The grassroots Party Committee's Inspection Commission disciplined 2 party members with a reprimand. The District Party Committee's Standing Committee decided to remove 1 party member and expel 4 party members from the Party due to violations.
