(NLDO) - The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has just reviewed and disciplined two party organizations and many party members.
Accordingly, regarding projects and bidding packages implemented by Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company and related companies in Ho Chi Minh City, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has reviewed and disciplined the Party Committee of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board for the 2020-2025 term by issuing a reprimand.
The Party Committee of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board for the 2020-2025 term violated the principle of democratic centralism and the Party Committee's working regulations; lacked responsibility in leading, directing, inspecting, and supervising the implementation of political tasks, allowing the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to have shortcomings and violations related to a number of bidding packages; and was slow to implement inspection and audit conclusions of competent authorities.
Regarding the responsibility of individuals for the above shortcomings and violations, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has disciplined 3 party members with a reprimand. They are Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; Mr. Le Ngoc Hung, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; and Mr. Nguyen Vinh Ninh, former Deputy Party Committee Secretary, former Deputy Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Disciplinary action in the form of Warning against the Party Committee of the Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board for the 2020-2025 term.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board for the 2020-2025 term violated the principle of democratic centralism and the Party Committee's working regulations; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership, direction, inspection and supervision of the implementation of political tasks, allowing the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to have shortcomings and violations related to a number of bidding packages; had Party members who were key officials violating Party regulations and State laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

Regarding the responsibility of individuals for the above shortcomings and violations, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has disciplined Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Deputy Director of the Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board, by reprimand and expelled Mr. Le Thanh Tung, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Project 4 Management Board, Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board.
Regarding the incident at the Union of Friendship Organizations of the City, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has reviewed and enforced disciplinary action of Reprimand against two Party members who are leaders of the Union for violating the Party's Regulations and the Union's Working Regulations in the work of leading, directing, inspecting and supervising the implementation of political tasks, allowing the Union's Inspection Committee to not properly implement the Operating Regulations; not ensuring publicity and transparency in the collection and expenditure of mobilized resources...
Regarding the Party member who violated the law, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has considered and disciplined by expelling Mr. Huynh Van Toan, former Party Committee member and former Deputy General Director of Dak Lak Rubber One Member Co., Ltd., for violating the provisions of the law in the management and use of State assets, causing loss and waste at Dak Lak Rubber One Member Co., Ltd.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has considered and disciplined Mr. Vo Sy Luc, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and former Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, by expelling him for violating the provisions of law in the management and use of the land at 39-39B, Ben Van Don, Ward 12, District 4.
