Doi Duong Park is nestled on the beach with rows of green poplar trees rustling in the wind. Sunshine, salty sea and white sand in the heart of the city are the ideal spots to attract millions of tourists to come and have fun, swim and watch the sunrise or late afternoon sunset.

Every morning, from around 4:30 to 6:00, Doi Duong beach is crowded with people coming to swim. Besides the local people of Phan Thiet and the people from the coastal areas who come to swim according to their daily habits, hundreds of tourists also join in the fun at the beach. The gentle waves hitting the shore with the colorful life jackets of red, yellow, orange and the blue of the sea have created a vivid picture that fascinates many people... Ms. Phan Thi Hoai in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City is a regular visitor to Doi Duong beach. She confided: "I don't know when I started to love Doi Duong park and beach so much. Once a month, my family goes to Phan Thiet to swim and eat seafood. I really like to immerse myself in the sea water early in the morning and watch the sunrise. My husband and two sons like to play soccer on the sandy beach. I must say that the feeling of being immersed in the nature of the sea is very special. All the daily worries and troubles seem to be washed away by the sea water, giving me more energy and new vitality...".

Doi Duong Park - Beach has existed for many generations, through the process of change, it has been renovated and shaped to become a tourist destination of Phan Thiet. Recently, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet city has decided to approve the investment policy of the project to renovate and upgrade Doi Duong Park with the goal of the project being to embellish and upgrade the coastal urban area, creating a highlight with diverse colors of the coastal city. Forming a place for entertainment, recreation, relaxation, photography... for Phan Thiet city residents and tourists when visiting and relaxing, in order to create momentum for the development of the city's marine economy. The project will invest in a number of items such as: Square, internal roads, parking lots, service houses, football fields, trees, water supply and drainage, lighting, decoration in the park. The land use area is about 4.8 hectares, the project has a total investment of about 62.1 billion VND.

Blending in with the space and flow of Doi Duong sea is Thuong Chanh beach. For Phan Thiet people, Thuong Chanh beach is not strange because many people love to come here to swim. However, for many years now, Thuong Chanh beach has not been invested in, so few tourists know about it. In 2022, the City People's Committee has implemented a project to build and renovate the park - Thuong Chanh beach. Currently, the park has a land use area of about 34,000m² in Hung Long ward, the project has a total investment of 30 billion VND with the goal of creating an urban landscape, a relaxation area, entertainment for local people, contributing to upgrading, urban beautification and creating a "green, clean, beautiful" environment in the area. The scale of the project includes area A, area B, traffic roads. In which area A has items such as an operating house and a public restroom with a construction area of about 666m². The parking area is about 2,794m². Sports field area of about 1,711m². Landscape hill area of about 1,588m². Camping area of about 2,170m². Landscape area of about 527m². Road yard area of about 2,418m², windbreak green strip area of about 1,633m², retaining wall length of about 374m. Area B has items such as parking lot area of about 981m². Square area of about 1,957m², landscape hut area of about 2,215m². Children's playground area of about 3,722m², art sculpture garden area of about 1,390m². Retaining wall length of about 195m, technical building area and public toilet area construction area of about 60.0m². The traffic route has a length of 290.86m. Lighting is provided by 17 single-arm LED poles 10m high, 33 double-arm LED poles 10m high...

Although Thuong Chanh Park and Beach project has only been completed about 90%, Phan Thiet has more green areas and new destinations for tourists to visit and relax...
