Binh Thuan tourism creates "plus points" to welcome guests

According to surveys at destinations as well as statistics, during the 3-day Western New Year holiday in 2024, Bau Trang eco-tourism site welcomed about 4,400 visitors, Cam Binh - La Gi tourist area welcomed over 1,000 visitors, Doi Duong Park - Phan Thiet welcomed an average of over 3,000 visitors per day... In particular, the center of Phan Thiet city had a lot of tourists coming to visit and enjoy the art program and fireworks to welcome the new year. For the Ham Tien - Mui Ne and Tien Thanh - Ham Thuan Nam areas, in addition to international visitors, the number of domestic visitors increased slightly, mainly in the form of groups of friends and families...

The vibrant and unique cultural and sports activities organized by the locality as well as businesses, resorts, and tourist areas to serve tourists, the image of a safe, friendly, and attractive destination are plus points for tourists to choose Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan for the New Year holiday. The province and the tourism industry always have timely and effective instructions and guidance, from environmental sanitation, security and order, safety at destinations to product quality, service prices, information activities to support tourists... are always guaranteed to be maintained continuously and effectively.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, the number of visitors and accommodation during the New Year holiday this year is estimated to be about 105,000.

Tourist accommodation facilities averaged 60-65% room occupancy, concentrated in 4-5 star and equivalent facilities, peaking on December 31. The number of visitors was concentrated in Ham Tien, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh areas... Revenue from tourism was estimated at about 230 billion VND. Room rates were quite stable, service prices (entrance fees, seats and fresh water showers...) did not fluctuate much, except for the prices of seafood sold at different times.
