The fair to display, promote, introduce and boost the consumption of OCOP products and the Hoa Binh highland fair held in Lac Son district is an opportunity to promote trade, introduce and promote agricultural products and typical goods of the highland district to consumers from all regions.

In late October and early November 2024, highland markets were continuously held in Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province, opening up opportunities for trade connection and trade promotion for mountainous areas, remote areas in the district and the province.

Specifically, on October 26 and 27, at the resettlement area of ​​Dom Bai hamlet, Mien Doi commune, a fair was held to display, promote, introduce and promote the consumption of OCOP products.

The fair to display, promote, introduce and boost the consumption of OCOP products and typical products of Lac Son district in 2024 includes 15 booths displaying and introducing typical and unique local products, including many products produced by women's union members in the district such as: Phu Luong split chili products; Mien Doi sticky rice; Chi Dao Doi seeds; Huong Nhuong hill chicken; Lac Son sour meat... Along with that are products with the district's own identity: Nhung Van turmeric starch; Thanh An honey; Tien Tuu sticky rice wine of An Tuan cooperative; Naturally fermented sim wine of Tan Lap commune...

Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Mr. Bui Van Khanh, Head of the Finance and Planning Department of Lac Son district, emphasized: The Fair aims to enhance the introduction, promotion, and connection between collective economic organizations and other economic sectors, creating opportunities for cooperatives to approach consumers and cooperate and link between cooperatives. Thereby, promoting trade, introducing and promoting OCOP products and typical agricultural products and goods of the district.

The markets not only connect supply and demand, promote trade but are also festivals for ethnic minorities in remote and mountainous areas.

Then, from November 1 to November 5, 2025, the Hoa Binh Highlands Market will be held at Lac Son District Stadium.
