On the afternoon of February 2, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City announced that the People's Committee of the City has decided to keep the giant snake mascots in place on Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Lunar New Year of the Snake to serve visitors until the end of February.
Accordingly, the Kim Ty - Ngan Ty couple at the Tet Flower Street entrance gate area is a prominent highlight, showing an impressive return in appearance, size and manufacturing method compared to the Quy Ty 2013 couple.

Specifically, Ngan Ty (female) is 25 m long and Kim Ty (male) is 42 m long, with its entire body winding three intertwined circles, forming a base more than 11 m wide.
The height from the body to the flower base to the top of the mascot's head reaches over 6m. Notably, 70% of the materials used to make Kim Ty and Ngan Ty are made from environmentally friendly materials.
There is another mascot with Southern cultural features, modeled after the shape of a king cobra with its head raised, covered in green and wrapped in a Southern checkered scarf; it is over 50 meters long and over 10 meters high.
According to the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Tet Flower Street, this year's flower street, in addition to the 3 giant mascots above, also has about 90 Ty mascots, showing a variety of shades and shapes, mainly arranged in the area behind the flower street's welcome gate, called "Kim Ty - Ngan Ty snake island".
Here, the "baby Ty" with adorable shapes and moving heads appear in miniature scenes such as "Ty going to the festival" and "Ty accompanying", bringing playfulness and joy to the flower street space.
