Accordingly, Nhon Trach District Police have identified a group of 10 people riding 6 large-displacement motorbikes in the opposite direction at Cat Lai ferry on the afternoon of August 20. The authorities have invited those involved to come to the police station for questioning. However, as of the afternoon of August 24, the people in this group have not yet appeared at the police station for questioning.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang Huong, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai) said that after a clip of the "chaos" at Cat Lai ferry appeared on social media, the People's Committee of the district directed the district police to investigate and handle the matter.
As VietNamNet reported, on August 20, a clip appeared on social media recording a group of people riding 6 Harley Davidson motorcycles causing chaos when crossing the Cat Lai ferry, on the shore of Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai).
According to the content of the posted clip, this group refused to line up to buy tickets when crossing the ferry and even drove in the opposite direction.
When the locals and some people in the motorbike group exchanged words, a scuffle broke out between the two sides. The incident caused chaos, and Cat Lai ferry staff arrived to intervene.
According to a representative of the Cat Lai Ferry Management Enterprise, the staff asked this group to turn around and line up properly to buy tickets for the next ferry trip.
