Talking about the turning point of joining Truong Hung Minh Art Stage, after the success of the play "Searching for the Crown Prince", Vo Tan Phat said: "The play "Searching for the Crown Prince" is the second play I collaborated with Truong Hung Minh Art Stage after the play "Blood Silk" - also a very successful play in the horror genre".

Answering the question of why Vo Tan Phat likes to perform comedy, and what he needs to equip himself with to perform comedy today, Vo Tan Phat said that performing comedy was not something he had in mind when he was a student at the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. Because when he was at school, he was always assigned tragic roles, and when he graduated, the entertainment game show market began to flourish, especially comedy game shows.

"To survive in this profession, I have to change to adapt to the audience's tastes. So I decided to register to try my hand at the "Laughing Across Vietnam" contest and was lucky to win the championship. Since that chance encounter, I have realized that bringing joy to people through my roles is what makes me happy, so I have chosen to pursue the path of comedy until now" - Vo Tan Phat confided.

He further explained that comedy is an interesting field that requires actors to be quick in improvisation, have a positive mindset and constantly improve themselves. Therefore, young actors like him, despite being busy with work, always take time to return to the stage to perform plays because that is where they can practice and improve themselves through each performance.

Currently, Vo Tan Phat's YouTube channel attracts a large audience. After the success of the hit series "Gia Dinh Cuc Suc", in 2024 he will continue to try to release personal film projects on various platforms.

Vo Tan Phat said: "Because I produce myself, I clearly understand what the audience likes about my acting. What I can do, I will promote and learn from in future products."

Answering the question, between comedy and tragedy, which genre does Vo Tan Phat like to perform, and what role are you looking forward to this year, he said: "After the success of the plays "Blood Silk" and "Prince Hunting", I will still try to arrange my work to continue collaborating with Truong Hung Minh Art Stage. I cannot guarantee that I will participate in every play, but I am always confident that for any role I accept to perform, I will always give my all and try my best to satisfy the audience!".

What Vo Tan Phat wants to send to the audience who loves him is that he receives many invitations to write scripts and even direct, but currently he is focusing on acting.
