TPO - From Saturday night to early Sunday morning this week, many localities in Ho Chi Minh City will have water outages or weak water while Saigon Water Corporation conducts periodic maintenance and repairs.
Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO) has just announced that it will temporarily stop pumping raw water at Hoa Phu pumping station and Tan Hiep water plant's clean water pumping station to carry out periodic maintenance and repairs.
Accordingly, from 10pm on March 16 (Saturday) to 4am on March 17 (Sunday), many localities will have water outages or weak water supply.

The water cut-off areas include District 8 (Wards 7, 13, 15); Binh Chanh District (Tan Tuc Town, Tan Kien Commune).
Weak water areas include: District 6 (wards 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14); District 8 (wards 6, 14, 16); District 12 (wards Tan Thoi Nhat, Tan Hung Thuan, Dong Hung Thuan, Trung My Tay, Tan Chanh Hiep, Tan Thoi Hiep, Hiep Thanh, Thoi An, Thanh Xuan); Go Vap district (wards 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16); Tan Phu district (wards Tay Thanh, Son Ky, Tan Son Nhi, Tan Quy, Tan Thanh, Phu Tho Hoa, Phu Thanh, Hoa Thanh, Hiep Tan, Tan Thoi Hoa).
The weak water situation also occurs in Tan Binh district (wards 12, 13, 14, 15); the entire Binh Tan district; the entire Hoc Mon district; Binh Chanh district (communes of Vinh Loc A, Vinh Loc B, Pham Van Hai, Binh Loi, Le Minh Xuan, Tan Nhut, Binh Chanh, An Phu Tay, Tan Quy Tay, Phong Phu, Binh Hung).
According to SAWACO, due to the specific conditions of the water supply area, water recovery time in some places far from the source will be slower than the main timeline.
SAWACO will direct units to regulate the water supply network to limit water interruptions in areas. At the same time, the unit will increase water supply by tanker trucks to key locations.
