(HNMO) - On June 11, in Ha Giang province, the peak day of "Volunteer soldiers for beloved juniors" in 2023 took place at the central level in response to the Month of Action for Children in 2023.

At the program, the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers presented the Ha Giang Provincial Young Pioneers Council with 2 Red Scarf houses with a total value of 120 million VND; 110 scholarships with a total value of 110 million VND; 140 sets of school supplies with a total value of 40 million VND, 381 Young Pioneers flags worth 46 million VND to children in difficult circumstances and Young Pioneers' bases...
Notably, the program’s main activity was the “Color Festival”, responding to the painting contest with the theme “Vietnamese Children Do Thousands of Good Deeds”, with the participation of more than 500 children. The organizing committee presented more than 500 meaningful gifts to the children participating in the festival.
This is the 6th year that the Central Council of Young Pioneers and Colokit Brand - Thien Long Group have coordinated to implement the program "Color Festival", with the desire to create a healthy and useful playground for teenagers and children; encourage creativity to contribute to nurturing and developing painting and fine arts skills, helping children promote their talents and develop comprehensively.
The drawing contest “Vietnamese Children Do Thousands of Good Deeds” will accept entries until August 3, 2023 at the website https://ngayhoisacmau.colokit.com and award prizes in September 2023. This is a major activity for children nationwide to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the “Thousand Good Deeds” movement.
As part of the series of activities on the peak day of “Volunteer Soldiers for Beloved Juniors”, the Central Youth Union, the Central Council of Young Pioneers and related units also opened swimming classes and provided free dental health check-ups and consultations for local children; at the same time, implemented the program “Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese children”, with a total implementation value of more than 500 million VND.
