Tay Ho District Association of the Disabled gives gifts and computers to support members

On the afternoon of April 17, the Association of People with Disabilities in Tay Ho district organized a program to celebrate the 27th anniversary of Vietnam Day for People with Disabilities (April 18, 1998 - April 18, 2025), giving gifts to support members.

According to Chairman of the Association of People with Disabilities in Tay Ho District, Vu Huu Lao, the Party and State always care about people with disabilities, ensuring that people with disabilities enjoy full rights to social security, vocational training, education, travel, and employment.

Over the past 8 years, the Association of People with Disabilities in Tay Ho District has achieved many achievements, exceeding many targets set by the Congress of People with Disabilities in the district, contributing to the improvement of social security in the district. Within the framework of the program, with support from the People's Committee of Tay Ho district, the District Association of the Disabled awarded 25 gifts to support disabled members in difficult circumstances with a total value of 12.5 million VND.

In particular, on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Vietnam Disabled People's Day, through the program "Connecting technology - Connecting hearts", JCI Thang Long Organization donated 15 sets of computers/laptops, and 2 additional sets of computers/laptops right at the program to the Lotus Club of the Association of Disabled People in Tay Ho district.

Expressing her joy at receiving these computers/laptops, Ms. Chu Thanh Nha, Head of the Lotus Club, believes that these sponsored products will help people with disabilities gain more confidence in studying culture, learning a trade and working so that they can be self-reliant in life, become useful people, and integrate equally into society.
