He expressed his hope that veterans and fellow musicians as well as the audience would come to enjoy them.

The Bao and the Soldier's Song (program director: musician Nguyen Quang Vinh - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, art director: musician The Bao, general director: People's Artist Ho Van Thanh, assistant directors: musician Le Anh Tu and musician Trieu Duong) takes place at 2:00 p.m. on December 21 at the Union of Literature and Arts Associations Hall, 81 Tran Quoc Thao, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of artists: Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc, Minh Trang LyLy, Ngoc Quy, Kim Thoa, Nguyen Han, Ngoc Giau, Lac Viet group, Veterans' Trio, Bach Duong dance group and Choir of the Faculty of Music and Cinema, Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
Musician The Bao's full name is Tran The Bao, born on August 22, 1937 in Binh Duong, Binh Son, Quang Ngai, in a family with a tradition of literature and art. His father is poet Tran Tat To, his older brother is poet Te Hanh.
Musician Thế Bảo studied at Lê Khiết High School, then gathered in the North in the Lien Khu V Performing Arts Troupe. In 1956, he passed the entrance exam to the Vietnam Music School (now the Vietnam National Academy of Music), and was retained to teach at the school from 1959. Musician Thế Bảo studied post-graduate at the Liszt Ferenz Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary. He defended his doctorate in musicology and was awarded the title of associate professor in 1991. He has taught at professional schools and short-term classes for many musicians across the country.
Musician Thế Bảo was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal in 2004. In 2017, he was awarded the State Prize. In addition to 3 books: Thoughts on Vietnamese Traditional Music Law, Perception of Music Aesthetics, History of Vietnamese Music , musician Thế Bảo also wrote symphonic poems Rung Sac, Land of 9 Dragons - Citadel of the Fatherland, symphonic suite Thăng Long 990, piano concerto, cello concerto, dozens of chamber pieces and hundreds of songs.
