Farmers in the Central Highlands approach a new solution to treat nematodes and yellow leaves and root rot on crops

On the morning of March 25, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, Syngenta Vietnam Limited Company organized an introduction of the nematicide product Vaniva® 450SC, with new technology Tymirium® to farmers in the Southeast and Central Highlands regions.

Tymirium® technology is an invention of Syngenta in destroying nematodes and root fungi with the most unique and advanced mechanism of action today. After 15 years of research and development, through more than 5,000 field trials and over 100 types of crops in 60 countries around the world, Tymirium® technology has been introduced in Europe, Australia, Korea... and officially launched in the Vietnamese market with Vaniva® 450SC.

Syngenta Vietnam introduced Vaniva® 450SC with Tymirium® technology at the event.

After a global research process, Syngenta Vietnam scientists cooperated with research institutes and authorities to conduct tests and evaluate the effectiveness of Tymirium® technology on many types of fruit trees and perennial crops in many localities, with many different crop seasons across the country. Thereby, evaluating Vaniva® 450SC with Tymirium® technology, helping to completely kill nematodes in the soil, preventing fungi from entering and causing root rot in crops.

Many agricultural experts from scientific institutes and universities attended the event.

At the event, Dr. Phan Viet Ha, Deputy Director of the Central Highlands Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology, said that in 2024, this unit will coordinate with Syngenta Vietnam to conduct a trial of Vaniva 450SC on durian trees in the Central Highlands region.

“From the actual test, we recorded positive results, the effectiveness of nematode prevention was very high, with durian trees reaching nearly 100%. Thanks to that, all indicators, new root growth, new shoot growth, new leaf growth were about 25% higher than the control, the crop yield was 5.5 tons/ha higher than the control,” Dr. Phan Viet Ha informed.

Vaniva® 450SC brings a breakthrough effect in completely killing nematodes and eliminating maximum fungal diseases, bringing the most superior control of nematodes and yellow leaves and root rot today. At the same time, it helps plants to develop strong roots and shoots; long-lasting effect with low dosage.

Vaniva® 450SC was tested and recorded positive results, very high effectiveness in preventing nematodes, with durian trees reaching nearly 100%.

According to Syngenta Vietnam, Vaniva® 450SC, with advanced Tymirium® technology, has a breakthrough mechanism of action that has proven to be highly effective, helping farmers effectively manage nematodes and yellow leaf and root rot, helping to reduce the number of sprays and the amount of chemicals applied to the fields, saving production costs and being safer for the environment.
