BIDV demonstrates a strong commitment to accompanying State agencies to improve the quality of public services, contributing to promoting digital transformation.

Leaders of BIDV and Hanoi City Public Administration Service Center signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the period 2025-2030.

On March 27 in Hanoi, the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center (PVHCC Center) and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to support and provide online public services, digital skills and utilities of Project 06/CP.

The event marks an important step forward in promoting digital transformation and improving the efficiency of online public services, supporting people and businesses to have easier access to administrative procedures on digital platforms.

The program was attended by leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam, the Central Party Office, the Government Office, the Hanoi City Party Committee, Departments - Boards - Branches, BIDV, the PVHCC Center and a number of related units.

Important step forward

Over the years, our Party and State have had many policies and strategies to promote administrative procedure reform, taking people and businesses as the center of service.

The development of PVHCC Centers helps simplify processes, improve management efficiency and especially bring maximum convenience to people and businesses, contributing to creating a transparent administrative system in the capital.

The model of deploying Online Public Service Agents is also a strong transformation in the administrative reform process, contributing to improving the quality of service for people and businesses, while promoting digital transformation in the City.

This is an important step in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Decision No. 06/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The birth of this model will help Hanoi city achieve the goals of "3 no": no boundaries, no intermediaries, no physical objects and "2 no": no administrative doors, no procedural locks.

Demonstrating shared responsibility in the national digital transformation

BIDV is the oldest commercial bank in Vietnam; has the largest scale in the market with total assets of over 2.7 million billion VND; has a widespread network of operations and the largest customer base in the country with 22 million individual customers, 500,000 corporate customers; has solid financial capacity, modern technology platform, high-quality human resources, implementing advanced management models towards sustainable development...

The cooperation agreement between BIDV and PVHCC Center is not only a coordination model but also demonstrates a shared responsibility in the national digital transformation process.

This is an important milestone, demonstrating BIDV's strong commitment to accompanying State agencies to improve the quality of public services, contributing to promoting digital government, digital economy and digital society.

Building a widespread network of online public service agents

Immediately after signing the agreement, BIDV committed to turning 206 BIDV transaction points in Hanoi into online public service agents, acting as agents to guide and support people and businesses in looking up, accessing and using public administrative services on online platforms, and guiding online payment of administrative fees and charges in a safe and convenient manner.

At the same time, BIDV cooperates with the PVHCC Center to support businesses in registering new establishments in the area to create favorable conditions for new businesses to be established, promote a dynamic business environment, and contribute to local economic development.

In addition, BIDV also sponsors kiosks located at the PVHCC Center, and sponsors the production of communication publications to guide people and businesses in performing online public services and the benefits of digital transformation in the process of carrying out administrative procedures.

The commitment between BIDV and the PVHCC Center aims to build a widespread network of online public service agents, helping people and businesses access public administrative services easily, conveniently and quickly.

Thereby promoting digital transformation, aiming to build a digital government, contributing to increasing the rate of administrative procedures performed online, towards the goal of 80% of people using online public services by 2025.

The online public service agency model will help reduce pressure on state administrative agencies and save social resources by transferring some public administrative tasks to businesses.

This is also part of the policy of socializing public services in the spirit of Resolution No. 18/NQ-TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 6th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee, helping to streamline the administrative apparatus and improve the efficiency of public sector operations.

This cooperation between the Hanoi Public Administration Center and BIDV is an important step in contributing to the construction of a modern digital administration; creating the most favorable conditions for people and businesses to access digital utilities, contributing to the construction of a modern, transparent and effective public administration.

The parties committed to working together in implementing digital solutions, improving service quality and promoting the application of technology in online public services.

This event not only marks a new development step for the cooperative relationship between the two sides but also opens up many opportunities for comprehensive and sustainable cooperation between the two units in the coming time; thereby contributing to promoting the sustainable and strong development of the capital Hanoi in the journey with the country of Vietnam to enter the "Era of Rising to develop richly, prosperously and prosperously".
