The codes that had the most negative impact on the VN-Index included: VCB, FPT, HPG, VNM with more than 3 points decreased. On the contrary, VIC, LPB, BSI, VCF were the codes that traded positively in green, contributing more than 1.4 points to the general index.
On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased sharply compared to the previous session, reaching more than 14,341.81 billion VND.
Foreign investors continued to net sell nearly 407 billion VND on the HoSE. On the buying side, VIX shares were bought the most with a value of 210 billion VND, followed by VND (75 billion VND), VHM (50 billion VND)... On the contrary, PNJ was sold the most (170 billion VND), followed by VNM (148 billion VND), FPT (89 billion VND)...
Today's session, bluechip stocks traded less positively as they gradually sank deeper into the red. The VN30 group of stocks ended the session with 6 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.
Of which, VIC increased by 1.58%, LPB increased by 1.36%.
Codes: BCM, BVH, SSB, SSI increased slightly.
Six codes stopped at reference: BID, MBB, SHB, STB, VHM, VPB.
On the other hand, PLX decreased by 2.81% to VND39,800/share, HDB decreased by 1.77%, FPT decreased by 1.74%, VNM decreased by 1.31%, MSN decreased by 1.3%, HPG decreased by 1.27%, VCB decreased by 1.07%, VIB decreased by 1%.
The remaining codes: ACB, CTG, GAS, GVR, MWG, SAB, TCB, TPB, VJC, VRE decreased slightly.
In terms of industry groups, steel stocks, except for DTL and POM, stopped at the reference price, the rest decreased. Besides HPG mentioned above, SMC decreased by 3.38% to VND6,280/share, TLH decreased by 2.74%, HMC decreased by 2.03%, HSG decreased by 1.97%, NKG decreased by 1.31%, and VCA decreased by 1.29%.
Securities stocks traded differently and closed up 0.35%. Besides SSI mentioned above, BSI increased by 4.8% to VND59,000/share, FTS increased by 1.42%, AGR, CTS, HCM, SSI, VND increased slightly, TCI, VIX stopped at reference. On the contrary, ORS decreased by 2.5%, VDS decreased by 1.05%, APG, DSE, TVB, TVS, VCI decreased slightly.
Banking stocks closed down 0.42%. In addition to the codes: ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB, MSB, increased slightly, OCB, NAB decreased slightly.
Real estate stocks were mainly trading in red, but thanks to the help of VIC, they were lucky to close in light green. Besides, some codes increased quite well such as: DTA increased by 2.56%, NBB increased by 1.37%, VRC increased by 3.2%.
Other stock sectors such as insurance, health care, consumer goods and decoration also closed slightly up.
The remaining industries such as: software decreased by 1.73%, telecommunications decreased by 1.3%, distribution and retail of durable goods decreased by 1.28%, raw materials, means of production, energy, transportation, utilities, food-beverage and tobacco decreased slightly.
* The Vietnamese stock market index was in red almost the entire session today, VNXALL-Index closed down 10.28 points (-0.47%), down to 2,162.41 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 722.07 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 17,163.81 billion. In the whole market, there were 131 stocks increasing in price, 99 stocks remaining unchanged and 230 stocks decreasing in price.
* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 238.20 points, down 1.34 points (-0.56%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 54.61 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND914.41 billion. The entire floor had 72 stocks increasing, 62 stocks remaining unchanged and 90 stocks decreasing.
The HNX30 index closed down 3.39 points (-0.69%) to 488.52 points. Trading volume reached over 31.25 million units, with a corresponding value of over VND675.42 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 5 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 17 stocks decreasing.
On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index decreased, closing at 98.62 points, down 0.34 points (-0.35%). * At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 6.35 points (-0.48%) to 1,317.46 points. Liquidity reached over 739.65 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND17,084.16 billion. The entire floor had 152 stocks increasing, 81 stocks remaining unchanged and 293 stocks decreasing.
The VN30 Index decreased by 6.33 points (-0.46%) to 1,373.93 points. Liquidity reached more than 248.63 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,161.18 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 6 stocks increasing, 6 stocks remaining unchanged and 18 stocks decreasing.
