On March 26, the People's Committee of Ward 14, Binh Thanh District (HCMC) invited representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports of HCMC, the Department of Culture - Science and Information of Binh Thanh District and representatives of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen's family (Ms. Vuong Thi Viet Hoa - authorized representative, Ms. Vo Thi Be - daughter-in-law, Ms. Vuong Hong Lien Huong and Mr. Vuong Bao Thanh, grandson of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen) to discuss the management of the ancient civil house at No. 11 (old No. 9/1) Nguyen Thien Thuat Street.
The units recorded that Ward 14 People's Committee has completed the enforcement work.
The Ward People's Committee arranged security forces to prevent individuals and households (except for Mr. Vuong Hong Sen's children and grandchildren) from re-encroaching and residing at the relic.
At this working session, Ward 14 People's Committee requested the Department of Culture and Sports to soon advise on the establishment of a management board for ancient house cultural heritage to ensure the management, maintenance and repair of relics.
In addition, the family representative of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen also requested that the authorities promptly resolve the rights of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen's children and grandchildren to stabilize their lives.

Previously, on March 25, the People's Committee of Ward 14 coordinated with relevant agencies to enforce and enforce remedial measures against illegal construction activities at house and land No. 11 (old No. 9/1) Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, Ward 14.
At the time of enforcement, households residing at 11 Nguyen Thien Thuat (not descendants of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen) had moved people and property out of the ancient civil house.
According to the report of Binh Thanh District People's Committee, the enforcement team has dismantled the entire area of construction violations according to Decision No. 5279 dated September 12, 2024 of Binh Thanh District People's Committee on enforcement to implement remedial measures, and at the same time, fenced off B40 mesh (fixed welding), sealed the enforcement area to ensure that households do not return to re-encroach.
In order to effectively manage and protect the traditional civil ancient house of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen, the People's Committee of Binh Thanh District requested the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City to take over management and have a plan for maintenance and repair because currently the traditional civil ancient house of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen has seriously degraded and is at risk of collapse.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Binh Thanh District requested the Department to coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve the legal rights of Mr. Vuong Hong Sen's children and grandchildren to stabilize their lives.
