The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also recommends that if citizens are in Israel , they need to have a plan to quickly evacuate people and property safely to a third country, or to Vietnam.

Citizens need to regularly monitor information from local authorities and warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond promptly.

To receive support in case of need, citizens can contact the hotline of the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel: +972 50 818 6116; +972 52 727 4248 or 972 50 994 0889.

Or Citizen Protection Hotline of the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs: +84 981 84 84 84 ; +84 965 41 11 18. Email: [email protected].

It is estimated that the Vietnamese community in Israel consists of about 500 people, living and working mostly in major cities of Israel.

The war between Israel and Hamas forces controlling the Gaza Strip shows no signs of abating. After Israeli forces entered the Gaza Strip, fierce fighting broke out, leaving many people injured.

The United States, an ally of Israel, has sent two aircraft carrier strike groups to the Mediterranean to "deter hostile actions against Israel or any attempt to broaden this war".

According to the Gaza Strip health agency, as of the morning of October 15, more than 2,300 Palestinians had been killed and more than 9,700 others injured since the conflict broke out on October 7.

In a letter of greetings to compatriots living in Israel on October 12, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Ly Duc Trung called on the community to join hands and establish community working groups corresponding to each area where households, students, trainees and workers are residing.

After establishment, it is necessary to notify the focal point information of each embassy emergency response steering committee group to promptly coordinate, exchange, update information, as well as provide specific instructions when necessary.

There are four major international agricultural training centers that regularly cooperate to receive Vietnamese trainees: Agrostudies in the north, Sderod Negev in the south-central region, Ramat Negev and AICAT in the south.

There are currently about 100 Vietnamese trainees studying at Agrostudies, of whom 15 live near the town of Sderot, an area at high risk of conflict.

With the support of the embassy and the Vietnamese community, the trainees were divided into small groups and moved to Malakhi city, about 40km from the Gaza Strip , to ensure safety in the coming days.
