Vietnamese consumers will receive incentives during "Digital Consumption Month"

Responding to National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, the program "October. Digital Consumption Month" is one of the key activities held annually from 2022.

National Digital Transformation Day 2024 has the theme: "Universalizing digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications to develop the digital economy - New driving force for economic growth and labor productivity".

"Digital Consumption Month" is an annual activity from 2022 to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day.

In June, the Ministry of Information and Communications approved the plan related to National Digital Transformation Day and assigned its affiliated units to coordinate.

Currently, preparations for the month of action in response to the National Digital Transformation Day have been carried out. Specifically, the identity of this Day has been developed by the National Digital Transformation Agency and posted on the National Digital Transformation Portal at dx.gov.vn.

Throughout October, units will identify National Digital Transformation Day through electronic portals, electronic boards, public screens, websites, mobile applications as well as electronic newspapers of the industry, field, and local management; encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies and localities to change their profile pictures with the identification frame "National Digital Transformation Day October 10, 2024".

For agencies and units under the ministry, the identification images will start earlier from September 25 until the end of October.

In addition, the National Digital Transformation Agency coordinated with units to actively prepare the program "October. Digital Consumption Month".

Accordingly, state agencies and the digital technology business community will accompany people in the digital transformation process by offering many digital consumption incentives.

This year's Digital Consumption Month is determined to focus on the pillars of the digital economy in 2024, aiming to create value to serve social needs, so that people can enjoy preferential policies when using digital products and services.

From now until October 1, the Digital Transformation Department will work with other units to promote and receive registrations from businesses providing digital products and services with preferential policies during the Digital Consumption Month.

As planned, "October. Digital Consumption Month" in 2024 will take place in October, peaking in the first 10 days of the month.
