(CLO) Hue residents who register their birth or permanent residence locally will receive a 50% discount on tickets to visit the Hue Monuments Complex when presenting their ID card.
On February 28, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center explained the policy of reducing 50% of entrance fees to the Hue Monuments Complex.

Accordingly, the people who are entitled to the reduction are local people of Thua Thien Hue (now Hue City) which are understood to include:
Birth registration in Hue City (code 046 on CCCD); permanent resident in Thua Thien Hue (now Hue City).
Thus, in case people come to visit Hue historical and cultural relics belonging to the Hue Monuments Complex, they need to present their ID card at the ticket counter and at the control gate to enjoy the exemption policy.
Previously, on January 1, 2025, the Center will officially sell tickets to visit King Duc Duc's tomb at 50,000 VND/time (children under 12 years old are free). This project has just completed restoration after a long period of deterioration and is currently still open for free.
Compared to previous years, Hue reduced two free days during the Lunar New Year (2nd and 3rd day of the lunar calendar) but added two new free days on August 19 and November 23.
Currently, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center sells entrance tickets to 11 relic sites, including: Hue Imperial City, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, An Dinh Palace, Nam Giao Altar, Hon Chen Palace and the tombs of King Gia Long, Minh Mang, Thieu Tri, Tu Duc, Dong Khanh, Khai Dinh.
