After more than 2 months of construction, the Minh Son toy, garment and leather shoe factory in Minh Son commune is gradually forming the main items of the project. The investor, Minh Son Garment and Leather Shoe Export Joint Stock Company, has focused on human resources and urged construction units to work overtime to speed up the construction progress of items as committed. The production project has a scale of about 3.43 hectares, a design capacity of about 2 million products/year with a project investment capital of 65 billion VND. The project, when completed and put into use, will create jobs for about 1,500 workers. According to the company representative, the process of implementing the investment and construction of the factory in Minh Son commune is quite favorable, with the functional branches of the province and the People's Committee of Ngoc Lac district creating maximum conditions. The site clearance and handover work was carried out by the locality on schedule as committed. Currently, the factory construction progress is guaranteed, recruitment and training are being implemented by the company as planned.
In recent times, Ngoc Lac district has focused on promoting, attracting and inviting investors to learn about the potential and advantages of the locality for investment. Along with that, the district focuses on reforming administrative procedures, providing maximum support for enterprises to carry out investment procedures in the shortest time. When there is an investment project, the district carries out site clearance work to ensure progress, handing over clean sites to investors to implement the project. To create favorable conditions for investors, the district focuses on investing in building infrastructure, focusing on traffic infrastructure to serve production and business activities. Up to now, the district has planned industrial clusters such as Phuc Thinh, Minh Tien, Ngoc Son, Ngoc Trung, Cao Loc Thinh... On that basis, the district calls on enterprises to invest in building industrial cluster infrastructure to attract secondary enterprises to invest in production and business. Currently, Ngoc Lac district has attracted large projects of direct investment enterprises that are under construction, such as: Minh Son toy, garment and leather shoe production project; Fruit juice factory in Ngoc Lien commune of Xuan Thien Group; Ngoc Lac export footwear production and processing factory project in Quang Trung commune... These are all projects that employ a lot of labor.
Currently, in Ngoc Lac district, there are more than 2,540 enterprises, cooperatives, production and business households in the industrial and handicraft sectors. In 2024, the district will establish 60 new enterprises, reaching 100% of the plan. Many enterprises have invested in completed projects and put them into operation, creating jobs and stable income for thousands of workers, such as: Xuan Thien - Thanh Hoa 1 High-tech Livestock Production Complex in Minh Tien commune of Xuan Thien Group with a total investment of 3,000 billion VND; VietPan-Pacific Thanh Hoa Garment Factory in Ngoc Lac town with a total investment of 8.5 million USD... Thanks to that, it will contribute to raising the average income per capita of Ngoc Lac district in 2024 to 56.14 million VND, ranking first among mountainous districts.

The district prioritizes attracting investment to develop industrial production projects, labor-intensive industries such as garment, footwear, and in the fields of high-tech agriculture, agricultural and forestry processing"...
