His real name is Nguyen Kim Kinh, born in 1952, he has been an actor since he was young with the stage name La Kinh. He specializes in playing unique roles on the cai luong stage. He was loved by the audience through his style of playing many unique roles, the type of villain that creates conflicts in cai luong plays: "Bloody money", "Country painting", "Red leaves and red thread", "The case of Dong Noc nan"...

In it, artist La Kinh said that the audience used to hate him because of the role of Ma Nguu in the play "The Ma Nguu Case" on the Trung Hieu stage 30 years ago. Despite the hate, he was still proud of choosing the right path. The villainous roles have accompanied him since he was 24 years old.

Artist La Kinh once confided that in his acting career, he enjoyed playing the role of a single male lead the most. He lived a very affectionate life, always helping fellow artists. His passing left many colleagues in mourning.

The funeral of artist La Kinh was held at 121 Phan Dang Luu - Ward 7, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The funeral was held at 6:00 a.m. on May 10, followed by cremation at Binh Hung Hoa.
