* On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party sent congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
* On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on February 3, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented the national flag line to the people of Hung Thinh hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.
This is one of the activities to implement Project 01-DA/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building Party cells and developing Party members in blocks, hamlets and villages without Party cells or Party members and blocks, hamlets and villages at risk of no longer having Party cells in the period 2016 - 2020".
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to present gifts to 7 poor households and families in difficult circumstances in the hamlet; at the same time, gave money to support Hung Thinh hamlet to buy equipment for the cultural house.
* On February 3, National Assembly deputies of constituency No. 2 visited and presented gifts on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024 in Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Tan Ky districts, Thai Hoa town and attended the inauguration and handover ceremony of gratitude houses in Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district.
In Quy Hop district, National Assembly deputies presented 30 gifts to poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in Chau Thai commune. The gifts were the sentiments and sharing of National Assembly deputies to the people before the New Year.

Previously, National Assembly delegates presented 30 gifts to disadvantaged families in Chau Phong commune, Quy Chau district, and attended the inauguration ceremony and handover of a gratitude house to Mr. Luong Van Thi's family.
* On February 3, a delegation from the Provincial Military Command visited and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the Nghia Dan District Military Command, and presented gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances in Nghia Mai commune (Nghia Dan).
* On February 3, Nghe An Newspaper coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Post Office to organize gift giving to the poor on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024 in Thanh Khai and Thanh Tung communes, Thanh Chuong district.
In Thanh Khai commune, the delegation presented 23 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged households. In Thanh Tung commune, the delegation presented 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to disadvantaged households.
* On February 3, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province and Investment Joint Stock Company 468 presented Tet gifts to policy families, poor households, and families in especially difficult circumstances in Hung Nguyen and Nam Dan districts.
Implementing the "Charitable Tet" movement of the Year of the Dragon 2024, with the motto "Connecting the community - Spreading love", the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province and 468 Investment Joint Stock Company presented 60 Tet gifts to the poor in Hung Thong commune, each gift worth 500,000 VND and presented 60 gifts to policy families and poor households in Xuan Lam commune, Nam Dan district, each gift worth 500,000 VND. The total value of the gifts is 60 million VND, supported by 468 Investment Joint Stock Company .
* On the morning of February 3, Vinh City residents were bustling about shopping for peach and apricot blossoms, candy... to prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
On the weekend, many people had a day off so they took advantage of the opportunity to shop for Tet. In addition, the weather was not rainy and gradually getting warmer, making the flower streets even more crowded. More peach, apricot and kumquat flowers were imported to serve the people.
Candy is an indispensable item during Tet. At Vinh market on the morning of February 3, the candy stalls were packed with people. According to the vendors, the number of customers started to increase from December 20th, and after the Tao Quan ceremony, it increased three times compared to normal days. Many establishments had to add more staff to help sell during Tet.
* Nghe An Provincial Police have issued a notice to search for a subject who robbed a bank in Cua Lo town. The notice clearly states that Nghe An Provincial Police are concentrating forces to investigate and arrest the subject who used a knife to threaten and rob property at 4:12 p.m. on February 1, 2024, at the headquarters of Vietinbank, Cua Lo branch.
Based on the announcement, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police requested professional units and police chiefs of districts, cities and towns to direct forces to focus on and resolutely review and make a list of all subjects and related vehicles with the above characteristics.
