* On the morning of February 2, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and the celebration of the Year of the Dragon, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and General Secretary Le Hong Phong.

* On the morning of February 2, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the 2024 Cooperative and Economic Forum with the theme: "Improving the State's support policies according to Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 - Driving force to promote the development of collective and cooperative economies in the new period".
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the collective economic sector is one of the four important economic sectors in Vietnam's socialist-oriented market economy. Developing the collective economy is an inevitable trend in the context of international integration, in line with Vietnam's socialist-oriented market economy.
* In the afternoon, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the 7th meeting of the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform to evaluate the results of administrative reform in 2023 and discuss directions and tasks for administrative reform in 2024. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized and clarified the results achieved in administrative reform work; thereby acknowledging and praising the efforts of ministries, branches and localities in 2023.
In addition to the achieved results, the Prime Minister said that mechanisms, policies and laws in some areas are still overlapping and contradictory; administrative procedure reform is still limited and entangled; there is still a situation where a number of cadres and civil servants avoid, push things away, are afraid of mistakes and responsibilities; public administration reform is not very effective; building e-government still faces many challenges...
* On the afternoon of February 2, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held an online conference with districts, cities and towns in the province to evaluate the results of 2 years of implementing the work of clearing violations and preventing re-encroachment of road and railway traffic safety corridors in the province according to the resolution of the Provincial People's Council and the plan issued by the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the report, the results of clearing traffic safety corridors, from January 1, 2022 to present, the whole province has cleared 12,463 m2 of houses, kiosks, tents, shops of all kinds; 259 temporary markets; 1,583 points of sale; 21,336 billboards; 2,570 electric poles, telecommunication poles; 659 car wash and parking spots; 27,885 m2 of canopies; 9,588 m2 of steps;...
The Traffic Inspectorate has inspected and handled 488 cases; of which 19 cases were recorded for violations with a fine of more than VND 138 million; and 345 cases were transferred to the District People's Committee for handling according to their authority.
* On the morning of February 2, the working delegation of the Military Command of Vientiane province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) visited and extended New Year greetings at the Military Command of Nghe An province.
Working at the Military Command of Nghe An province, the delegation of the Military Command of Vientiane province highly appreciated the achievements of the unit in the past time and sent wishes of good health and a prosperous New Year 2024 to all officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and hoped that the friendship, cooperation, solidarity between the two countries, the two peoples and the special relationship between Vientiane province and Nghe An province will always be sustainable.
* Vinh City has issued a Plan to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring and welcome the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024. In particular, urban beautification work is focused on with the aim of creating a joyful atmosphere and adding a new look to Vinh City in the new year.
Accordingly, for projects and works under construction in the area such as upgrading Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Hong Phong, and Ly Thuong Kiet streets, due to the urgent need for business premises for small traders as well as to facilitate people's shopping and Tet shopping, the city is directing to speed up the progress and soon complete the necessary items.
At current construction sites, Vinh city requires forces to clean up the environment and return the site before December 25 of the lunar calendar to serve people's business and Tet shopping, and only resume construction after the Tet holiday ends.
